Hi my name is Kimiko but you can call me Miko! I decided to make Chicago my forever home from Northern California in 2011 and have been in love with this city ever since! The trends combined with classic beauty and worldly flare have been so incredibly inspiring to me. Having over 20 years of experience I have trained with some of the industry leaders (including detailed focus with I.C.O.N. Line) and have even been an educator myself, but my true passion is behind the chair. I have recently gained education in Energy healing and advanced esthetics to better serve you all holistically from the inside out. My goal at Liquid has been to create a judgment free safe space built on genuine bonds and connections. We have days and times that feel like you've entered the perfect day party and days and times that are perfect for a silent appointment while you work or simply decompress. Just let us know the vibe and we've got you.

Meet Michi
Hi, my name is Michi I was born in California but raised in Chicago. In my free time I love to binge book series' study foreign language (so far I speak Japanese and am learning Russian) and travel the world. I've been to 5 countries and plan on add as many as possible each year. I grew up around the beauty industry so I always loved receiving services but it soon turned into me wanting to learn to do those services. I’ve always loved being artistic like paining, crocheting and other things so in 2022 I turned that art into nail art. I’m also told that my massages are top notch! Honestly isn't the massage and hot towel the best part of any service?? I look forward to getting to know you and your nails goals.

Meet Kylie
I was raised in salons and day spas, so the beauty world has always been second nature to me. Even as a kid in California, I was an artist at heart, painting with watercolors and oils, weaving, cross-stitching, and crocheting anything I could get my hands on. As I got older, that creativity shifted into makeup and hair, and eventually became the career path I knew I was born for. After graduating from Douglas J Aveda Institute in 2024, I turned my passion into my profession. Today, I specialize in sculpting brows that frame the face to perfection and creating braid and loc styles that truly last. Whether I’m working with kids, men, or women, I bring the same mix of artistry, precision, and a little fire to every look.
For me, it’s never “just” a wax or a braid, it’s a chance to create .

Hey I'm Maya! I was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, although I started life in finance, I’ve had a passion for nail care since I was a little girl. What began as a childhood fascination quickly grew into a lifelong love for the art of beauty and self-expression. I specialize in acrylic and gel nail application, along with custom designs that bring my clients’ visions to life. My mission is to create a space where everyone feels nurtured, cared for, and confident in their own unique style...one set at a time.

I’ve always loved fashion and beauty, especially anything a little unexpected, unique, or sparkly. I have a genuine passion for health, self-care and helping people feel comfortable in their own skin. It truly feels like a gift that I get to do this work as my career.
My goal is to make the beauty industry feel approachable, inclusive, and judgment-free. I want everyone who sits in my chair to feel welcomed, seen, and supported exactly as they are, with no pressure to be anything else. I began my cosmetology journey over 10 years ago and took time away to raise my three children and reconnect with myself. Coming back, I have clarity about what I value, how I want to work, and the kind of environment I want to be part of. I’m so excited to meet you and create something beautiful together.

Hi there, my name is Lauren Madeira. I'm a fashion stylist/wardrobe consultant with a passion for culture, social impact and visual storytelling. I have 16 years of styling experience and a fundamental understanding of brand identity and product development. I have been enlisted to aid in creating visuals for personal, high profile and celebrity clients, print, commercial, music videos and luxury department stores. Most notably, I found a way to combine my love of fashion with serving women in need by using fashion and style as a tool of empowerment. I created the Day Dreamer Journal, a guided daily journal that empowers you to identify and design the life you dream through the power of gratitude; by focusing on empowering women to re-imagine their future providing attire for their new beginning. I partnered with community based organizations and Women's Expos as a public speaker to provide step by step tools to curate their dream life; strengthening your focus and intuition which naturally cascades right to your outside fashionable self through apparel. Using fashion and style as a form of empowerment, I have found success in leveraging my platform and years of industry experience by partnering with brands to facilitate speaking engagements, panel discussions and podcasts. Harnessing style and gratitude as a tool, I thrive on demonstrating how the transformative power of fashion can inspire and project confidence, self-love and self-expression.
